Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsúlan: The wind had gotten a little stronger since this morning and we decided to go back to the area we found the Minke Whales.
When we were there we did see a blow from a Minke Whale, but didnt find the animal after that. We saw a blow about 2-3 times but it was very hard to spot the whale.
We searched the area for a very long time with out getting a good look at him. While we were sailing around we saw some Gannets diving, such an amazing sight, but no better sighting of the whale. On our way home we saw a Harbour Porpoise but it was swimming very fast and was gone before we new. The ocean was kind of rough and got worse as time went by.
We decided to give all of our passangers complementary tickets, because of the very short sighting and we hope that they will come soon and the Whales will be not as busy.

Tour at 9:00 Report from Hafsúlan: We headed out this morning in a misty weather, but not that much wind.
We saw a lot of puffins outside Reykjavík and Akurey was full of them, we look forward seeing more of them in the next coming weeks.
We sailed around for a while before we saw a dorsal fin, it was a White-beaked dolphin, but we lost sight of him very soon, he was moving so fast. A few minutes later we saw a blow, we sailed to it and saw a Minke Whale for a few times, but we really had to try our very best to keep up with him because he was really busy, might have been hunting near the bottom because he was taking alot of deep dives.
We found another Minke Whale close to the other one, but they were both very busy hunting.
On our way back to the harbour we saw some Harbour Porpoises and they came really close to the boat, but were very quick and were gone very soon.
We headed back to the harbour after a good tour with alot of species.

Birds seen on todays tours include: Common Guillemot, Puffins, Eider-Ducks, Kittiwakes, Fulmar, Glacous Gull, Northern Gannets & Manx Shearwater.
