Dear María, Rannveig & Team!

On Wednesday, 11.08.10, we went with you to the whale watching tour. We enjoyed the time on both boats. The excellent tour on the one, the delicious waffles on the other.

Thank you so much, to bring us the whales a little closer. A special compliment to the moderator for her emotional announce.

Hope full, to see us in the future again,

Martin Helmrich & Karsten Knabe

Hey Elding crew,

I did the whale watching tour with you at the 21st of July 2010 and it was so incredible:-)
After a stop at Lundey the search for the whales begun. And finally, after a very long search, there was this beautiful minke whale. It was so close to the boat- fantastic! It has been a very nice sighting after the long search and I'd like to thank you for your patience and that you spent 30minutes longer at the water than normal:-D

I will definitely come back and do another trip with you.

Love from Hamburg, Germany
Carina

Hello, Last Saturday I went whale watching with your company for three times in a row, and I had a great time. I was really spoiled with the amount of whales that I saw, and at the last tour even dolphins!   What pleased me the most were the enthusiastic reactions of your guides every time they spotted a whale or dolphins. They were just as pleased the see a whale as the passengers where. It shows how much they love nature.
Thanks for a great time and I hope to come whale watching with you in the future.

All the best, Dominique

Hello Elding crew,

We want to thank you for the great (almost private-) tour we made on 28th april 2010. To see so many surfacing whales from a very short distance, was an exciting and unforgettable experience!  Actually we didn't really know what to except, but we really felt small when we watched those big animals in their natural environment, and privileged too! Now we're back home we remember this tour without any doubt as one of our most fantastic souvenirs, so thanks a lot again!

Hello,
We went on the whale watching trip today with you (26th feb) and had an amazing time.  Thank you so much.  Unfortunately my camera failed to work and I was wondering if you are able to e-mail me any photos that you took from todays trip.  If so I would be very grateful.  Thank you
Katherine Wynn-Owen

Hi to everyone at Elding - just a brief thank you for an amazing day! My family didn't know what to expect but we were all extremely impressed with the trip from start to finish, the friendly welcome (including a box of tempting chocs in the ticket office - ah well, it was Christmas!), the extremely warm overalls we were all given to wear, and the very reasonably priced bar. Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention the star attraction of the day - the very obliging humpback whale! It really was a "peak" moment for me to see it, at first I didnt think I'd get more than a tiny glimpse as everyone rushed to one place to look and I was near the back (and not that well vertically endowed). The whale obviously wanted to play fair with everyone and carried on swimming around, waving it's flippers and tail in the air and eventually I'm sure everyone on board got to see the awe-inspiring creature several times. Magic!! I dont want to make the white-nosed dolphins feel left out - they were just as beautiful and the second school we saw were out to entertain us, and swam around the whale to make sure it didnt get all the attention (and quite rightly so!). One swam under the boat right underneath where I was standing at the rail, and I saw it's black and white markings really close up.

I didnt manage to capture any of the marine life on my camera (mobile phone variety!) but I got a nice shot of the sun sinking towards the horizon which you're welcome to use.

Thanks again to everyone at Elding who makes such amazing encounters with nature possible, that trip was one of the most amazing experiences that I and the rest of my family have ever been lucky enough to enjoy. Unforgettable!

Happy New Year,

Lindsay Sorrell

Hi to all at Elding , just to say thank-you for our great afternoon on Sunday . We had seen Minke whales before off Mull , but they were so far away it was pretty disapointing . This time they were quite close and easy to see . Nice also to see Harbour porpoises to get an idea of scale compared to the whales . My daughter enjoyed it as much as I did , so thanks to you all.  Best Wishes Ian Campbell
