Report from Eldey: The forecast this afternoon looked fairly reasonable with an aurora activity of 2/9, and only a few clouds. Mother nature can rarely be predicted, many times we are surprised with wonderful bright lights that spread across the sky, even on low aurora levels. But unfortunately, occasionally the weather changes, clouds rolls in or there is just a lack of solar activity. In these cases the lights may not be as bright as we would like or not at all visible. As it was tonight I have to admit with a heavy heart, due to a lack of solar activity. Therefore, all of our passengers were offered complimentary tickets so they can come back on another one of our tours again for free, in the hope they will be able to experience some amazing northern lights.
