Report from Eldey: As we sailed out tonight, the sky was not as clear as the forecast had predicted. Still we were able to see some stars and the full moon was shining bright, so we waited for the sun to completely sink below the horizon. After about 45 min we saw some Northern Lights activity right above the mountain range "Esja". The got stronger and brighter and bigger and we even saw some dancing lights. It was a shame that the final sunlight was interfering and reducing the effect of the Northern Lights in the beginning. But then the sun was setting more and more and the lights got stronger and we dancing a few times almost all over the sky. After another hour of northern lights activity we sailed back to the harbour after a very cool tour.
