Report from Eldey: We noticed northern lights as soon as we left the harbour! The lights were faint but certainly visible with the naked eye. We hoped the forecast for clearer skies and brighter auroras would come true for us. Unfortunately this was not the case, the cloud coverage was thick for most part of the tour and the lights never easily visible. Therefore we offered all of our passengers tickets to come back on another night, either here in Reykjavík or in Akureyri, in the north of Iceland.
