The evening started with heavy rain, but the forecast had predicted gaps in the clouds. Soon, we started seeing stars, but the auroras unfortunately did not make an appearance tonight. So, everyone received a complimentary ticket to try their luck again!

The skies were clear and our hopes were high! We could see the northern lights before the boat even left the harbour! It first started faint but then made a very clear green arch above the city. As we got further away from the city, the lights got much stronger!

It didn't take long until we began seeing faint streaks of northern lights twinkle above mt. Esja, as they faded in an out of view. They covered the left side of the mountain and stretched over to the east, becoming brighter with every minute that passed.

We headed out onto the calm bay on this clear but chilly evening as we left the city behind. We scanned the dark night sky, when all of a sudden the sky began lighting up above mt. Esja - the northern lights had appeared! There were green and even purple streaks!

We sailed out into the bay hopeful to see the auroras, but unfortunately most of the low clouds stayed throughout the evening. Everyone received complimentary tickets to try our luck another time to hopefully see the sky turn green on a future visit!

We headed out to sea on our final northern lights cruise of the year, full of hope for the night ahead! We were excited to witness a proposal onboard soon into the tour, many congratulations to the happy couple! It was a lovely calm evening at sea, and we started to see some stars, but unfortunately we had no aurora borealis this time, so we gave our guests complimentary tickets to try another time.

We sailed out with mostly clear skies, hopeful and excited. The sun set in the distance, and the skies cleared more and more. We waited, warming up with blankets but unfortunately, we were unlucky this time so handed out complimentary tickets to our guests to try again another evening!

Tonight we had partially cloudy skies, with fantastic ocean conditions, and we headed out to sea. More and more gaps in the clouds started to appear, and stars shone through them. We waited patiently, warming up with some hot chocolate, but unfortunately we were not lucky this time and gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again another evening.

We left the harbour with a few clouds in the sky but plenty of gaps, hopeful for the evening. The late sun set and we started our hunt, with the first northern lights already visible through the clouds! After a few minutes, they left again but on our way back to the harbour, a long green arch appeared and we had another good look at them. A great evening at sea!

We headed out on a lovely evening and already spotted the northern lights visible above us! A great start to the tour. They became more intense and swirled and veiled with 2 arches above us. A brilliant and beautiful evening at sea.

We set out tonight with some clouds but some gaps forecast so warmed up with hot chocolate and blankets and waited patiently. We started to see some stars in the sky, but unfortunately this time, we didn‘t manage to see any aurora, so we gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again another evening.
