    As we came out of the harbour we could see the northern lights in the sky waiting for us! The forecast predicted a Kp 1/9, which goes to show that Mother Nature is truly unpredictable. We saw much movement, many arches and colours!

    With a Kp index of 2/9, the northern lights were already visible as we left the harbour! As we sailed away from the city, they exploded and bursted into a corona right above us! We saw wonderful colours in many shapes in the starry sky tonight!

    The forecast was optimistic, with gaps in the clouds and a good activity level. We started to see signs of northern lights, but unfortunately, they remained shy, so we offered our passengers complimentary tickets to try again another night for free!

    We left the harbour full of hope and sailed into the darkness of the bay and - BINGO - the northern lights were already waiting for us! There was a green arch that multiplied into at least 5 strands, taking up the whole sky and dancing above us!

    The night was amazing and there were plenty of stars above our heads as we sailed out. The northern lights began to show themselves at the top of mt. Esja and soon appeared in several arches in the sky. A true spectacle of what Mother Nature can offer.

    With a Kp index of 4/9 and some gaps in the sky, we admired the city on our way out, mesmerised by the Winter Lights Festival at Hallgrímskirkja church. We had high hopes for the night, but unfortunately we ended up issuing complimentary tickets.

    The sky was full of stars, and we could see several constellations and a few shooting stars. We could see a bit of a glow above mt. Esja through our cameras, but never with our eyes. Since the auroras didn't show themselves, we issued complimentary tickets.

    The northern lights were visible right from the start. We had a clear sky and were able to enjoy the spectacle in full view as soon as we left the city behind us. We saw arches and curtains even though the intensity changed throughout the tour.

    With a Kp index of 2 and clear skies, we were hopeful that the auroras would bless us with their appearance. We admired mt. Esja, alight with a beautiful moonlight and waited. Unfortunately, however, they never showed up, so we issued complimentary tickets.

    It was a beautiful evening out on the bay with a full moon. The auroras unfortunately did not appear tonight and so we offered our guests complimentary tickets to come out with us on another tour in search for the northern lights.

    With some gaps in the clouds, we set out into the bay and soon saw some faint northern lights over mt. Esja. While they grew a bit in strength, they soon faded away, so we handed out complimentary tickets so our guests could try again another night.

    Tonight we were expecting a Kp index of 1-2/9 and while there were a few clouds, they quickly moved away and over the city. From the minute we started the tour, we could already see northern lights that faded in and out throughout the night.

    We sailed out with a good forecast, but the clouds were giving us a hard time with small gaps. At one point we could see a little patch of northern lights, but they were only visible through the camera, so as we sailed back home, we issued complimentary tickets.

    We had barely sailed out of the harbour when we had the northern lights to our left and Reykjavík city to our right. There were 2 arches visible, one above the other, stretching over mt. Esja. We saw different shapes and swirls going from green to red!

    We set sail into fairly calm seas, with a moderate wind and a sky mostly covered by high clouds. After waiting patiently, a band of northern lights appeared! Faint at first, barely visible to the naked eye, when suddenly the sky exploded into colour!

    We had northern lights the minute we sailed out of the harbour, on both sides of the boat! A nice green arch stretched above the night sky and a green patch above mt. Esja. As the tour went on, they even changed shapes a few times!

    We had a lovely windy night that blew away the clouds and opened the sky for us. The northern lights revealed themselves, first with a green glow that formed an arch that soon became stronger. We also saw a bit of dancing and different colours.
