Tour at 21:00

Report from Eldey: This tour was accompanied by a very strong and cold wind from the north. However, in the shelter of the land our captain managed to find a place where there was almost no swell and we could experience the fresh Icelandic winter air. While there was a very faint green area close to Esja for almost the entire time of the tour giving our passengers an idea about the natural phenomenon of the Aurora borealis, we had to wait until 23.00 to see its real beauty. Then we witnessed much stronger and quickly changing northern lights in colors of green, yellow and orange dancing over the nightly sky.
