Report from Hafsúlan: We started our way to the shelter of the Reykjavík islands because tonight it was windy and we needed a stable place to try to capture aurora with our cameras and eyes. The kp level of 2 got our hopes up and the clear starry sky did that too. We could see the constellations clearly and so, we just needed some lights to show up. Unfortunately, that never came to be, and we never saw them with our eyes. Only our cameras could catch a glimpse of these Nordic lights, so we offered complimentary tickets to our passengers to have another go on another night.
