Report from Eldey: tonight it was forecasted as a Kp index of 2, already more than enough to see in Reykjavik. Also, we had no high clouds and although we had some lower clouds, there were many gaps at the sky and we could see numerous stars, which is always a good thing! So with these conditions, we sailed to around Videy island area, getting rid of the light pollution coming from the city. After a while, taking random pictures of the sky, we captured some green lights above Esja mountain! However, we could only see them through the camera lens and we waited for it to get stronger, but it gave us a starting point of where to mostly look. Since the tour was coming to an end and the lights didn't get any stronger, we decided to give out complimentary tickets so the passengers could have another chance of seeing the lights again.
