Tour at 17:00

The tour has been cancelled due to bad weather and sea conditions

Tour at 13:00

The wind picked up a bit, but the tour was really nice. We came back around the same area where we observed the minke whales this mornign but the scenery and the wildlife was even better. In fact, there was a lock of at least 200 gannets, feeding droping down into the water and with them a group of minke whales, which were fast surfacing, showing the pointed beak out of the water to reach the surface to breath.

Tour at 9:00

The sea was roug today: large waves and white sprays. The wind was still not too strong. We sailed out in Faxafloi loooking for whales and we had a nice tour. In fact, we could observe approx 5 minke whales, which were gathering in the same area, feefind in association with a lot of fulmars and kittiwakes. Puffin were also present, quite many flyihg around and some were even carry sand-eels in their beaks. Some white-beaked dolphins were fast travelling as well in front of our vessel, and some even approached us.
